Course Description: Bank Secrecy Act describes reporting responsibilities that are part of the Act—including identifying transactions that require completion of a Currency Transaction Report (CTR) and a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR). This course describes the stages of money laundering and the minimum requirements of the Customer Identification Program (CIP). The course also provides guidelines for answering basic customer questions related to BSA procedures. Audience: All bank employees who need an understanding of core Bank Secrecy Act requirements.
