What is it all about?
Self-Study courses are a convenient way to complete AIB courses at your own pace and schedule. Students are sent a welcome packet including the course textbook. Mid-term and final exams are taken at your bank and proctored by your immediate supervisor or a senior level officer at your bank.

You are able to take the following courses self study:

This course will offer students essential information about the regulations governing credit practices, and review loan processing, cross-selling, and collections.

This course is an introduction to laws pertaining to secured transactions, letters of credit, and the bank collection process.

This course is a banker's guide to law and legal issues, with special emphasis on the Uniform Commercial Code.

To introduce students to the marketing concept, look at what motivates customers to purchase financial services and teach how to develop a successful marketing program.

This course presents a fundamental treatment of how money functions in the U.S. and world economies. Money and Banking also explains how the various types of financial institutions operate, the workings of monetary and fiscal policies, the functions and powers of the Federal Reserve, and more.

This course provides entry-level bankers with the information they need to provide effective service to their customers and thereby improve bank profitability, including: how banks affect the economy, the banking business, products and services provided, and how they are provided.
