Executive Leadership Program

PBA Advanced School of Banking
2011 - 2012

The Executive Leadership Program is a fifteen (15) month leadership development program designed to actively enhance the leadership, organizational and performance skills of highly motivated executive and senior management level bankers. The program establishes a network of future bank leaders who understand the complexities of being a CEO and can respond to local and national issues impacting the banking industry and their communities.


How will this program prepare individuals for their future bank leadership?   • To become recognized leaders in their industry and their communities.
  • To provide a leadership learning network.
  • To enhance leadership skills, promote strategic thinking and expose the
        participants to a comprehensive executive view of the industry.
  • To educate individuals about the political, legislative and regulatory process and
        encourage them to be active at the state and national levels.
  • To provide the Executive Leadership members an organized networking program.
  • To involve and utilize peers throughout all areas of the program to ensure
        retention and provide for personal and professional growth and development.


Entrance Criteria   • Bank employees with 10 or more years of management experience,
        who have direct reports.
  • The employee must be selected by their CEO.
  • The employee must possess true leadership skills and be on a potential path to
        executive management and/or CEO succession.
  • Graduate of a PBA school and/or graduate of a banking school or
        academic post graduate degree.
  • Representation geographically and by deposit size.
  • One representative per institution, per class year.
  • Class size should not exceed 25.

        *CEOs of the Graduates are requested to attend.

Cost Member   $4,000
Includes Six Sessions, materials, assessments, texts, meals and breaks.
(Room and Board and Harrisburg Capitol Trip are additional costs.)
