The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) published a final rule to implement the new integrated disclosures (TRID) on Nov. 20, 2013, and the final rule was effective on Oct. 3, 2015. The TRID rules and guidance from the CFPB continue to evolve. After much industry confusion and concern regarding elements of the regulation, the CFPB released final TRID Amendments on July 7, 2017, with a mandatory compliance date of Oct. 1, 2018.
