The William S. Latoff Advocacy Award
Nominations for this year's award are now closed!
William S. Latoff was the active Chairman and CEO of DNB Financial Corporation when he passed away on Jan. 11, 2016. He served his bank and his community with dedication and humility. A former PaBPAC chairman, PA Bankers Government Relations Policy Committee member and representative to ABA’s BankPAC Committee, Bill understood what it meant to be politically active, as he nurtured strong relationships with members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly and United States Congress alike.
Bill wholeheartedly believed that advocacy would effectuate positive change for the industry. Learn more about Bill by reading this tribute from the 2016 Q1 edition of paBanker magazine.
In honor of Bill, PA Bankers established an award to be given annually to a banker who displays excellence in advocacy. The award recipient characteristics include:
- An active policymaker for PA Bankers;

PA Bankers encourages its members to nominate individuals who demonstrate these characteristics. Please submit a nomination form along with award qualifications to Erin Kanter, Director, Advocacy & Government Relations, by April 12. The PaBPAC Board of Directors will then select an individual who exemplifies these qualities. Please contact Erin, (717) 255-6910, with any questions.
